Colonial Beach Public Schools
WELCOME-The Colonial Beach Public School System was established as an independent school division in 1907. It serves the residents of Colonial Beach, which is a small town of about 3,000 people located directly on the Potomac River. Our student enrollment K-12 for the 2011-2012 school year is 600 with 255 students in the Elementary School, 145 students in the Middle School and 200 students in the High School. Our small size provides a strong sense of community. Colonial Beach Schools are fully accredited by the Virginia State Board of Education. We received accreditation in the spring of 2005 by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Please browse through our website to learn more about Colonial Beach Schools. We are committed to excellence in every area of student endeavor. The Colonial Beach School Board does not discriminate against any person on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, marital status, or handicapping condition.
